Visual Diary on Pinterest = More Writing Here!
I’ve realized Tumblr initially was more of a visual diary for me, but I have now transitioned a lot of that over to Pinterest. Personally it just works better for me. Looking to use this as a place for more writing instead. Stay tuned!

Home Cook Superstar: Foodzie Tasting Box! →
homecooksuperstar: The tasting box is a part of a new program where Foodzie sends you a sampling of products each month with special offers for each product if you like them – which you will! The membership program costs $20 a month, but you can recoup that $20 easily by taking advantage of the specials made available to members. I know – spending money to save money – but having Christmas...

Entrepreneurship is a Process
Rob and I enjoyed a happy hour brainstorm session with one of our advisors, Dave Morin, who is one of the most thoughtful, creative, and genuinely good people I know. Sometimes I blab more than I should in these discussions, but with Dave I love sitting back and absorbing the way he makes sense of a few data points and runs with an idea. His enthusiasm for Foodzie is an extra bonus.  We talked...

Purslane & Picnics
A miraculous thing happened this past Saturday. The sun came out!! Luckily it’s out today too. You see, if you don’t live in San Francisco, you may not realize that there’s this odd city that doesn’t have a summer. As an east-coaster, I had no idea this existed. The central valley heats up, sucks the fog over the city, and hunkers down for three months solid. Three cold...

Desiderata. Desiderata. Desiderata. →
Desiderata. Desiderata. Desiderata. Go placidly amid the noise and haste, and remember what peace there may be in silence. As far as possible without surrender, Be on good terms with all persons. Speak your truth quietly and clearly, and listen to others - Even the dull and ignorant, they too… First posted in my grandfather’s office in 1956, now hung in my sister’s bedroom....

Smart People + Collaboration
“The theory that there is economic value to having smart people together rests on the assumption that smart people collaborate with each other. You could have a whole bunch of smart people in one place, but if they don’t interact with each other, what’s the value?” If collaboration was factored into the list below, Boulder, CO would not only be on the list, but it would...
